Winter Clash 2026 Guide: How It Works and How to Profit
Winter Clash starts Friday, November 6. This guide explains how it works, then gets to the part most guides skip: how to make World Locks from it, not just what to buy with your tokens. Prices are the latest reported on GTPriceGuide.
๐ Key Dates
| Event | Dates |
|---|---|
| โ๏ธ Winter Clash | Fri, Nov 6 โ Sun, Nov 8 |
| โ๏ธ Winter Clash Redemption | Mon, Nov 9 โ Thu, Nov 12 |
| โ๏ธ The Grand Tournament | Registration Nov 6, event Nov 7โ11 |
Winter Clash is a season that runs from November to February, with one Clash weekend each month. November 6โ8 is the first one. It overlaps the Grand Tournament, so decide early which one gets most of your time.
โ๏ธ How Winter Clash Works
- A Grow Event runs all weekend. Each Clash weekend picks one activity, like fishing or surgery. You score points by doing it with that event's special tool equipped. Points count from 00:00 Friday to 00:00 Monday (Growtopia time).
- Points unlock milestones. Each milestone pays Winter Tokens. Your guild has its own milestones too, so being in an active guild earns you extra tokens on top of your own.
- Spend tokens in the Rewards Store. It has four branches. Buying everything in a branch gives you a Legendary Clash Key & Finale Ticket.
- Run the Finale. A Winter Clash Finale Ticket gives you 25 minutes of parkour. The farther you get, the better your odds of a rare prize.
๐ฏ Which Grow Event Is It?
Growtopia reveals each weekend's event shortly before it starts, on its official Discord and X. Check it before you stock up, because what sells depends on it:
| Grow Event | You score by | Tool you need | What sells during the weekend |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fishing Fanatics | Catching fish | Anomarod | Bait: Shrimp Lure ( |
| Surgery Stars | Finishing surgeries | Bone Saw | Surgical tools (~10/WL, Stitches ~1 WL), Tea |
| Super Startopians | Finishing star voyages | Scanner | Star tools: Teleporter Charge (~2 WL), Tactical Drone, Galactibolt |
| Cooking Conquerors | Cooking meals | Rolling Pin | Ingredients: Egg, Milk, Wheat, Sugar Cane |
| Speedy Splicers | Splicing seeds | Cultivator | Cheap seeds in bulk |
| Harvest Heroes | Harvesting trees | Scythe | Seeds, ready-to-harvest farms |
| Block Bashers | Breaking blocks | Hammer | Cheap blocks in bulk |
| Block Builders | Placing blocks | Trowel | Cheap blocks in bulk |
Each tool comes in three grades: Reliable (never breaks, scores least), Pristine (scores more, can break; sold in the store for 3,500โ5,000 gems) and Elegant (scores the most, crafted from two Pristines).
๐ฐ 5 Ways to Profit From Winter Clash
1. Stockpile what the event uses, sell it on the weekend
This is the big one. Everyone rushing points burns through the same supplies at once. When it's a fishing weekend, bait goes fast, which is why many players save up bait for weeks and sell it during the Clash. The same goes for surgical tools on a surgery weekend and star tools on a Startopia weekend.
- Buy or farm early, while nobody needs it. Providers help: a Tackle Box makes bait, a Surgical Tool Bag makes surgical tools, a Star Tool Droid makes star tools. See our provider guide.
- Sell on Friday and Saturday, when demand peaks. By Sunday night most players have what they need.
2. Sell the event tools
Players who show up late need a tool fast. Tool prices swing a lot: the Pristine Anomarod and Pristine Hammer were both reported at ~25 WL in August but 4โ5 WL in October. Buy spare tools in quiet weeks and sell them when a matching weekend starts.
3. Spend your tokens on the best value
Worth = the latest reported price. The last column shows how much you get for every 100 tokens.
| Item | Tokens | Worth | Value per 100 tokens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storage Box Xtreme - Level 1 | 600 | 100โ150 WL | ~17 WL ๐ |
| Winter Freezer Robe | 200 | ~15 WL | ~7.5 WL |
| Ultra Winter Freezer Hood | 1000 | ~50 WL | ~5 WL |
| Ultra Winter Freezer Robe | 1000 | ~35 WL | ~3.5 WL |
| Winter Freezer Teddy Mask | 200 | ~5 WL | ~2.5 WL |
| Winter Freezer Cuddly Fox Scarf | 200 | ~5 WL | ~2.5 WL |
| Doppelganger Projector | 800 | ~6 WL | under 1 WL |
| Storm Cloud / Lunar Crater | 800 | 2โ3 WL | under 1 WL |
Best buy: the Storage Box Xtreme. It's worth the most per token, and it's genuinely useful: it stores up to 20 stacks of any tradeable item. Skip the 800-token blocks unless you want them for a build. The Soul Stone (400 tokens) can't be traded, so buy it only if you need it to upgrade Ancestral Artifacts or the Gauntlet of Elements.
4. Sell your Finale Ticket, or run it
A Winter Clash Finale Ticket can be traded, and one was reported at ~3 DL. Running it is a gamble: at the start of the parkour, 98% of prizes are common, and even at the last claim it's 64% common, 22% rare and 14% epic. Good at parkour? Run it. Otherwise, the ticket itself is a sure sale.
What the prizes are worth:
| Prize | Recent price |
|---|---|
| Supplier's Cape | 50โ70 DL |
| The Great Chameleon: Master of Disguise | ~40 DL |
| 2-Face | ~35 DL |
| Extractor Dynamo | 25โ30 DL |
| Mage's Orb | ~12 DL |
| Crafter's Cape | 6โ10 DL |
| Dual Crescent Blade | ~9 DL |
| Sprite's Robe | ~6 DL |
| Tiger Spirit | ~5 DL |
| Extract-O-Snap, Lyre | a few WL |
5. Buy the Redemption dip
During Redemption (Nov 9โ12), lots of players sell their Clash rewards at once, which pushes prices down. If you have World Locks ready, that's the time to buy Clash items and resell them weeks later, once supply dries up.
โ Before November 6
- Check the Grow Event on the official Discord or X, then stock up on its supplies.
- Get the right tool. A Reliable one never breaks; buy it before Friday, when prices jump.
- Join an active guild for the extra guild tokens.
- Make inventory space. Rewards pile up fast.
- Keep World Locks ready for the Redemption dip.
- Watch your items. Add what you're selling or buying to your Watchlist.
๐ก Selling Tips
- Don't dump everything on day one. Supply peaks during the event; prices often recover once it ends.
- Check before you trade. Use the Trade Calculator to make sure an offer is fair.
- See what's moving. The Market page shows the month's biggest price rises and drops.
- Report what you see. Got a fresh price from a trade? Submit it and help every other player.
